Time to Move
Our efficient little engine works like a champ. Let’s talk about that pesky little aspect we call time. My best description would be to call it a byproduct of movement. Before that point moved, time was not needed. There was no reason for it to exist. There was only one static point, not moving, nothing changing.
Then that first cycle happened and time was born. It is a measurement of change necessary to describe movement. Each cycle of the point is its own time cycle. When the point is in the original position, “time” resets to zero. On the next escape, the cycle of time begins again, giving that point the “time” to go through the process. The description of travel is a vector denoting direction and speed. Speed is distance travelled by the “time” it took it to make the trip. Now that is our perspective, but one could make the argument that “time “is what allows all of this to happen in only one instant (the one you get to experience). It is not a singular entity.
I’m sorry kids, there is no “Time Travel” as they express in fiction. One could travel towards the big bang and find themselves in a place where “time”(or distance travelled) from the bang is less than the amount of travel experienced by the earth, but that person will no longer be anywhere close to where he started from. The same happens when traveling away from the big bang until you get to the place where it all bends back into itself to cycle again. All movement, as we describe it, is finite and will not happen again. One cannot “go back” and reimagine the outcome of something that has already taken place. The universe maintains its movement in one direction trying to get back to the origin. No stopping, no oops try that again, just one steady revolution with a ton of attitude.
Treating “time” as an independent entity is a fallacy. It cannot be separated from the movement it describes. I hear the murmurs, Jeff, I am not moving at all and yet another hour has passed, what’s up with that? Ahhh, but remember you are moving rapidly, with attitude, in a specific direction as you cycle your way back to the beginning. This happens because of nature’s desire to climb into its own ass, which is what most folks call gravity. Of course, I will expound upon that in the future. For now, just take the time to let these ideas sink into your thoughts.
