Inherent Acceleration
I’m going to let the idea of a solitary point of existence rattle around in your brain for another week. Mean huh? I really want you to embrace it, feel it, ponder the implications….and I’ll tell you where we are going with that next week. Today I want to talk about a concept that was never taught to me but derived through observation and using the basics of physics. (Don’t worry, it will all tie together)
Acceleration is any change in vector. That means if you speed up, slow down, change direction or come to a stop, you are still accelerating. Let’s face it, you can’t really stop because your body is hurling through space on a spinning planet traveling in an orbital path. Now physics tells us that an object at “rest” will remain at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. Basically nothing will move unless it is pushed. If that was the true nature of mass then no movement would have ever happened. No cosmos hurling away from the big bang, just simple unorganized existence. Now any good physicist worth their salt will tell you how dark “Energy” (or some other made up nonsense) drives it all and renders my point moot.
I’m all about simplicity, not mysterious forces made up in someone’s brain to explain the unexplainable. Rather than complicate matters trying to rationalize the behavior of mass using typical numerical approaches, I came up with the idea of inherent acceleration. A simple hypothesis to explain why the universe moves. All mass has an inner dna that drives it. A unique force causing all this marvelous controlled chaos that is our reality. A basic desire to change at the core of all existence.
How come that pool ball just sits on the table until I hit it with the cue? It doesn’t seem to want to move…..ahh but it is moving. What we see is our viewpoint which is subjective. All physics movement must be measured from the point of the big bang to be valid. Looking from that perspective, both that ball and you are tumbling maniacally as the earth hurls itself through space, spinning, wobbling, orbiting the sun….mind boggling.
So then, what in the hell is that desire to change? Where did it come from? Why is it so powerful? How do we predict it? Why does Jeff think about these things? (He can’t help himself) This is where the Physics of Attitude comes into play. I would like to take you on a journey to shake up the preconceived notions of the twentieth century and bring this science into the future. We’re going to look at that beautiful simple equation we all agree on E=mc2. Instead of interpreting it by mass, we will dissect it by Energy or as I like to call it ‘Attitude’. You will get to see what ‘Attitude’ has to do with that single point of space. Most importantly I will try not to bore you to tears in the process.
I am thankful they don’t burn heretics at the stake anymore.
Your faithful servant
jeff
