Hello, I’m Jeff McCann. Ever since I was a young man, I have had an affinity for mathematics with an emphasis on how it pertains to the world of physics. I was intrigued by the limitations of the speed of light and what it would look like if we could surpass it, with many wild thoughts on the implications and physical aspects of such behavior. Being a critical thinker, I soon realized I was approaching this all wrong and began my journey to the Physics of Attitude. I have a natural tendency to reduce problems to their core and simplest parameters. I believe fiercely in the tenet of Occam’s Razor and employing that principle in solving problems big and small.
I am starting this church because of my faith in Attitudinal Physics. This faith brings me to abhor the lack of sense and intelligence I see displayed in our actions, our communities and certainly the media (propaganda). Common sense and physics go hand in hand. Once you understand the How, When, Where and Why, of movement, it becomes pretty easy to determine the “common sense” solution to most problems that stand in your way.
Common sense is also a shared experience. As we stumble, fall and pick ourselves back up, we garner new knowledge to be shared. This is why this church will only thrive with the participation of members like you! Each one of us has a road to follow or skill that differs from the next person. A plumber would have “common sense” on waterflow and valves, a chef would be able to share his “common sense” on the relationship of acids, sugars and oils in cooking, a mechanic would certainly be able to shed some “common sense” on the inner workings of a combustion engine. And yet, these three would not have the common sense of the other unless it was shared. We would like to be the cathartic outlet that helps you through the day. Share with others. Learn from others. Pose your questions in a friendly forum and even perhaps rant about your brush with stubborn ignorance.
Mostly we want to encourage people to think before acting or speaking. To assess your surroundings, acknowledge the aspects of your situation and apply yourself with grace befitting your fellow man. ( oh and I want to help push the world of physics into the 21st century…lol)
So the grand experiment begins!
